Smart Strategic Services Pty Ltd (trading as Get it Write!) aims to provide professional, high-quality proofreading, editing and writing services. These terms and conditions set out the responsibilities and requirements of Smart Strategic Services Pty Ltd, and of users of our services.
By using the Get it Write! website, you accept the terms and conditions below, and you also accept the terms and conditions relating to privacy and confidentiality, and our fee, satisfaction and on time guarantees, as stated on this website.
Smart Strategic Services Pty Ltd reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change these terms and conditions at any time. Such changes will become effective ten days after we post them to this site. You should periodically review this agreement, which may have changed since you last used the service. Your use of the service on any date will mean that you accept and agree to the version of the agreement as of the date of your order.
Your responsibilities
Users of the http://www.getitwrite.com.au web site bear full and absolute responsibility for:
- the payment in full of the price calculated on the website, before we begin the work
- the originality as your own work of the document(s) you submit to us
- the provision of a working e-mail address to which we can return documents
- the quality and accuracy of the content and formatting, and final use of, returned documents
- the acceptance or rejection of any changes made by us to the document(s) you submit.
You agree to accept our work, and we bear no further responsibility, seven business days after returning the work to you, unless you advise your disagreement to us otherwise within that time.
Our responsibilities
Smart Strategic Services Pty Ltd will:
- take all reasonable steps to provide high-quality services, in line with our procedures for the particular level of service (Polished, Readable, Structured and/or Written)
- complete work within the timeframe notified on our website at the time of payment, or as otherwise agreed between us, except where we are unable to do so because of other events occurring where we do not consider ourselves to be responsible for late delivery (listed in the On-time guarantee).
Smart Strategic Services Pty Ltd will not accept an order where:
- the number of words paid for is one or more per cent higher or lower than the number of words in the document(s) submitted (that is, you miscalculate the number of words)
- in our opinion, that editing the work at the level of service ordered will not result in a product of quality acceptable to you (for example, in a very rare case, an extremely badly written document may be in need of such extensive revision that Polished editing would make no material difference to its quality)
- our virus checking software determines that a document contains a threat
- a document contains file corruptions or major formatting problems that prevent us editing it
- the document contains material that we consider to be against the law, plagiarised, sexist, racist, homophobic or otherwise oppressive
- we consider it reasonable for any other reason not to accept the order.
If we do not accept an order for the reasons above, we will promptly contact you and seek to agree on a revised order to best meet your needs.
Smart Strategic Services Pty Ltd is not responsible for:
- the quality and accuracy of the content and formatting, and final use of, documents we edit
- file corruptions or bugs that cause changes in documents after we return them to you (although we will try to help you fix any problems that arise)
- any issues that arise from you failing to make your requirements clear (for example, that you disagree with a particular aspect of our style).
Smart Strategic Services Pty Ltd does not represent or guarantee that the documents it proofreads, edits and/or writes are error-free. Your use of our services is at your sole risk. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses or expenses incurred by the users of our services, however they were caused.
The http://www.getitwrite.com.au website has links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for, and do not necessarily endorse the content or practices of, or any information or services provided by, linked sites.
While we take care to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, we do not guarantee it. We shall not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from inaccuracies in, or omissions of, information on our website.
